Paola, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
My love of art, was and continues to be the inspiration for my business. My transition from Mass Communications Major/Art Minor to Interior Design has been influenced by architectural elements, antique fragments, art and travels. I enjoy supporting and guiding my clients through their building, remodeling or decorating process. I take the time to listen to my client needs and desires; approaching the creativity process through their eyes.
With an eye for color, pattern, balance, style and the ability to mix and customize each space to speak to my clients, I specialize in creating elegant living spaces, while maintaining a functional and comfortable home or work environment. Striving also to make a statement in every room, designing interiors that are both memorable and livable. The result? Beautiful, welcoming spaces that exude comfort and reflect the character of the people who live and work in them.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
Interior Design is the art or process of designing the interior, often including the exterior, of a room or building. A multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, communicating with the stakeholders of a project and the management and execution of the design. With my managed process approach, we can make interior transformations, home building and renovation painless and worry free.
Approaching each design opportunity as a natural extension of my passion for the careful rendering of color and lines, I enjoy helping clients discover and express their own style through Design Consultation, Project Management, Space Planning and Floor Plan Layout, Lighting Design, Construction Documentation, Budget and Scheduling, Material and Finish Selection, Furniture Selection, Purchase & Installation of Items, Custom Cabinetry, Custom Upholstery Custom Kitchen and Bath Design, and Staging.
My goal is to work with my client collaboratively, transforming dreams and desires into solutions that are singularly theirs – elegant, playful, enticing, extraordinary.
